Basketball Recap: Romeoville Comes Up Short

Romeoville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 57-42 fall against the Oswego East Wolves. The Spartans were probably out for revenge after losing 64-59 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Romeoville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Oswego East, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

Romeoville is taking a road trip to face off against Plainfield North at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Oswego East, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Metea Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Oswego East knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Metea Valley likes a good challenge.
