Volleyball Recap: South Cobb Takes a Loss

South Cobb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the McEachern Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Samira Washington paced South Cobb's offense, picking up ten kills. Washington got some help from Nicolette Sweat and her 12 assists. Courtley Richardson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

South Cobb's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for McEachern, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-17.

South Cobb didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Campbell on the 16th. As for McEachern, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Osborne on the 16th.
