Volleyball Recap: South Aiken Thoroughbreds vs. North Myrtle Beach Chiefs
It was a good run, but South Aiken unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs. The Thoroughbreds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chiefs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.
The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15.
South Aiken's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for North Myrtle Beach, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.
