Basketball Recap: North Atlanta's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak at Home

North Atlanta entered their match against West Forsyth on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The North Atlanta Warriors took a 65-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Forsyth Wolverines. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Warriors came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Wolverines are ranked 281st).

North Atlanta's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-7. As for West Forsyth, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11.

North Atlanta will head out on the road to face off against Lambert at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Lambert knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 17 contests -- so hopefully North Atlanta likes a good challenge. As for West Forsyth, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Forsyth at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
