Baseball Recap: Arlington Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

The matchup between Arlington and Liberty on Tuesday hardly resembled the 2-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Lions put the hurt on the Bison with a sharp 17-3 victory. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Arlington's sixth in a row) raised their record to 18-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Liberty, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-8.
