Midlothian has gone 9-1 against Clover Hill recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Trojans are taking a road trip to take on the Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. Midlothian will be strutting in after a victory while Clover Hill will be coming in after a loss.

Midlothian will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal last Monday, then bounced right back against Powhatan on Tuesday. The Trojans never let the Indians get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for Midlothian, who have now won five contests by four goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Clover Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 6-0 to Cosby. While losing is never fun, Clover Hill can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 211th, while Cosby are ranked 94th).

Midlothian's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Clover Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything went Midlothian's way against Clover Hill in their previous meeting back in March, as Midlothian made off with a 6-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
