Basketball Recap: Elgin Takes a Loss

After flying high against Santa Fe South back in December of 2024, Elgin came back down to earth. The Elgin Owls were dealt a 65-35 loss at the hands of the El Reno Indians on Friday. The matchup marked the Owls' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Elgin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for El Reno, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

While Elgin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
