The Hancock Central Bulldogs entered their tilt with the Johnson County Trojans with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Hancock Central strolled past Johnson County with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 58-43. That's another feather in the cap for Hancock Central, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Hancock Central's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Karter Harper led the charge by scoring seven points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Harper has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played. Josiah Ingram was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds and two steals.

Hancock Central's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-7. As for Johnson County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hancock Central will challenge Georgia Military College at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Georgia Military College is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. Johnson County's road trip will continue as they head out to face Wilkinson County at 8:30 p.m. on January 19th. Wilkinson County is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
