Volleyball Game Preview: St. Paul Central Minutemen vs. White Bear Lake Bears

St. Paul Central is 0-4 against White Bear Lake since August of 2018 but things could change on Monday. The Minutemen will host the Bears at 7:00 p.m.

On Saturday, St. Paul Central came up short against Two Rivers and fell 3-1.

While St. Paul Central had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 15-25, 25-19, 25-21.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for White Bear Lake, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against Woodbury by a score of 3-1 on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Royals: they've now won three in a row.

White Bear Lake was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 23-25, 26-24, 25-18.

White Bear Lake's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for St. Paul Central, they now have a losing record of 5-6.
