Basketball Game Preview: J.L. Mann Patriots vs. Dutch Fork Silver Foxes

The J.L. Mann Patriots will face off against the Dutch Fork Silver Foxes at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as J.L. Mann comes in on ten and Dutch Fork on nine.

J.L. Mann is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of South Carolina's top teams: Lexington, who was ranked tenth at the time (J.L. Mann was ranked 18th). J.L. Mann strolled past Lexington with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 62-46.

Imari Richardson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 22 points and 15 boards. That's the most points she has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jade Hailstock, who scored 17 points and five steals.

J.L. Mann smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Dutch Fork had no trouble coming through when it counted. They managed a 67-63 win over Dorman on Thursday.

Dutch Fork pushed their record up to 22-2 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home. As for J.L. Mann, their win bumped their record up to 19-6.
