Softball Recap: The First Academy Royals vs. Lyman Greyhounds
The First Academy barely beat Lyman the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Royals put the hurt on the Greyhounds with a sharp 12-2 win on Friday. Considering the Royals have won five games by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Isabella Brown was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. Brown was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
