Basketball Game Recap: Lander Valley vs. Lovell

It was a good run, but the Lander Valley Tigers finally witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak. It was close but no cigar for Lander as they fell 28-25 to the Lovell Bulldogs this past Saturday. That's the fewest points the Tigers have scored all year.

Lander's overall record fell to 14-6. The win bumped Lovell's record up to 3-15.

Lander is staying on the road on Friday to face off against Worland. Lander is the favorite here -- although they were the favorites in this last game, too, so the odds might count for a little less. Lovell will stay at home against Powell on Friday. Lovell isn't expected to win, but seeing as the odds didn't stop them this last game, maybe the team has another upset up their sleeve.
