After a string of seven wins, Ridgeline's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Central Valley Bears by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Central Valley this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in March.

Ridgeline's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Central Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ridgeline will take on rival Lewis & Clark at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Ridgeline have won three straight at home, while Lewis & Clark won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change. Meanwhile, Central Valley is set to square off against their familiar foe University at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
