Basketball Recap: Dunkerton Extends Winning Streak to Nine

Dunkerton waltzed into their game on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They blew past the Janesville Wildcats 72-41. This was a revenge game for the Raiders: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in December of 2024, they had to take a 60-55 defeat.

Dunkerton's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.3 points per game. As for Janesville, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-5.

Dunkerton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 74-48 victory against Clarksville on the 31st. Janesville has also already played their next contest, a 68-35 defeat against Gladbrook-Reinbeck on the 30th.
