Softball Recap: El Capitan Eagles vs. St. Michael Cardinals
El Capitan entered their tilt with St. Michael on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 12-6 margin over the Cardinals. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by six runs or more this season.
Vasey Yellowhorse spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on three hits and racked up 11 Ks. Those 11 strikeouts gave her a new career-high.
