Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Portsmouth West). Everything went their way against the Belpre Golden Eagles on Saturday as they made off with a 17-7 win. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Senators with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory (which was Portsmouth West's third in a row) raised their record to 4-9. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Belpre, they dropped their record down to 4-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Portsmouth West beat the Golden Eagles by a score of 9-3 later that day.
