Football Game Preview: Riverton vs. Rawlins

On Friday Riverton take on Rawlins at 7:00 PM. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.

Things haven't been easy for Riverton, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to seven. They took a serious blow against Torrington last Friday, falling 0-51.

Meanwhile, Rawlins have to be hurting after a devastating 0-28 defeat at the hands of Lander Valley. The state rankings had actually given Rawlins a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
