Soccer Recap: Lawrence Gets the Win

Lawrence hadn't done well against Steinert recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Cardinals had just enough and edged out the Spartans 2-1. This was payback for Lawrence, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Lawrence's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Steinert, they moved to 3-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
