Signal Mountain and East Ridge pushed the score to 56-54 the last time they played East Ridge, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Eagles took down the Pioneers 39-23. The 39-point effort marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Signal Mountain's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zach Isaac led the charge by putting up seven points and seven boards. Camden Johnston was another key player, shooting 42% from the field on his way to 11 points and three steals.

The win (which was Signal Mountain's third in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points over those games. As for East Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
