Basketball Recap: Putnam Wins Going Away Against Parkrose

Putnam won the last time they faced Parkrose and things went their way on Friday too. The Putnam Kingsmen enjoyed a cozy 54-39 victory over the Parkrose Broncos. That 15 point margin sets a new team best for the Kingsmen this season.

Putnam has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Parkrose, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Putnam wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 72-46 win against Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts on the 4th. As for Parkrose, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-40 victory against Hillsboro on the 4th.
