Softball Recap: Archie Whirlwinds vs. Stockton Tigers
Archie had lost five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-4 to make it six. They came up short against the Stockton Tigers, falling 20-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Whirlwinds' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
As for Stockton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
For Stockton's part, Mekenzie Evens was a major factor no matter where she played.
