Monroe put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand the East Eagles a 16-0 shutout. The Red Jackets were shut out 32-0 the last time they took on the Eagles, so the Red Jackets were just returning the favor.

Monroe's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for East, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Monroe didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-0 victory against East/World of Inquiry on the 27th. As for East, they will challenge Honeoye Falls-Lima at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
