 The Philip Simmons Iron Horses are on the road again  on Tuesday to play the Hanahan Hawks at 7:00  p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 After failing to score in their last  contest, Philip Simmons made sure to put some  goals up on the board against North Charleston  on Friday. They were the clear victor by  a  4-1 margin over the Cougars. Given Philip Simmons' advantage  in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings  (they are ranked 32nd, while North Charleston is ranked 129th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Philip Simmons hit North Charleston with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from 
 Max Toperzer, 
 Cullen Sweeney, 
 Miquel Alomar,  and 
 Cris Morales.
 Meanwhile, Hanahan has not lost a  match since March 28th, a trend which continued in their latest game  on Friday. Everything went their way against Battery Creek as Hanahan made off with  a  6-1 victory. The  match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  3-0.
 Philip Simmons is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine games,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record  this season. As for Hanahan, their win bumped their record up to 11-3-4.
 Philip Simmons was able to grind out a solid  victory over Hanahan in their previous meeting  back in April of 2023, winning  2-0. Does  Philip Simmons have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hanahan turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
