Norristown fell victim to Phoenixville and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Phantoms, falling 12-0. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Phantoms: they've now lost eight in a row.

Norristown's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Phoenixville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4.

Coming up, Norristown will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Methacton at 4:00 p.m. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Phoenixville, they will venture away from home to challenge Spring-Ford at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Phantoms 3.5, the Rams 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
