Softball Recap: Green Bobcats vs. Glenwood Tigers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Notre Dame, Green was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Glenwood Tigers a 22-0 shutout. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bobcats considering their one-run performance the game before.
Isabella Conley and Emma Brown did most of the damage at the plate: Conley went 3-for-5 with four runs, two doubles, and one stolen base, while Brown went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave Conley a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Peyton Neal, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
