Calvary Day School extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Owen Calvert. The Calvary Day School Cougars were the clear victor by a 90-64 margin over the Cary Christian Knights on Friday thanks in part to Calvert, who posted 29 points along with six boards and three steals. The contest was his fifth in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Ricardo Collini, who put up 20 points. Those 20 points gave him a new career-high.

Cary Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Andrew Neal and Reed Harvey. Neal earned 20 points and five rebounds, while Harvey went 7 for 8 en route to 15 points. Neal is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 19 or more in the last six games he's played. Cennoth Kalisiak was another key player, putting up ten points.

Calvary Day School's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Cary Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-3.

Calvary Day School didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 71-70 defeat against Asheville Christian Academy on the 7th. Cary Christian has also already played their next game, a 67-49 win against South Wake on the 6th.
