Baseball Recap: Coral Park Comes Up Short

Coral Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Miami Beach Hi-Tides, falling 14-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 4-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Coral Park's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Miami Beach, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 10-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coral Park will challenge Dade Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Miami Beach, they will square off against Southridge at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Spartans' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Hi-Tides' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
