Basketball Recap: George County Gets the Win

George County won the last time they faced Poplarville and things went their way on Saturday too. The Rebels walked away with a 25-13 win over the Hornets.

The victory got George County back to even at 1-1. As for Poplarville, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. George County will host Stone at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Poplarville, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on West Jones at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th.
