Spring Valley won the last time they faced Spooner and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cardinals came out on top against the Rails by a score of 2-0.

Evah Butts paced Spring Valley's offense, picking up five kills. Butts got some help from Addison Nelson and her 15 assists.

Spring Valley's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Spooner, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Spring Valley has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Clear Lake on the 11th. As for Spooner, they will take on Grantsburg in a tournament on Saturday.
