Volleyball Game Preview: Myers Park Mustangs vs. Berry Cardinals

After both having extra time off, the Myers Park Mustangs and the Berry Cardinals will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Myers Park will be strutting in after a victory while Berry will be coming in after a loss.

Last Wednesday, Myers Park earned a 3-1 win over Olympic. The matchup marked the Mustangs' most dominant victory of the season.

Myers Park had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-19, 25-20, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Berry was not able to break out of their rough patch last Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Butler.

Berry was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-0, 25-0.

Myers Park now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Berry, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
