Basketball Game Preview: Whitinsville Christian Crusaders vs. Blackstone-Millville Chargers

The Whitinsville Christian Crusaders will head out on the road to take on the Blackstone-Millville Chargers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Whitinsville Christian is looking for their season's first win.

Whitinsville Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were outmatched by Hopedale and fell 58-28. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 170th, while the Blue Raiders are ranked 32nd).

Meanwhile, Blackstone-Millville came up short against Douglas on Thursday and fell 44-34. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Blackstone-Millville saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Marren Berry posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Izzie Gaudette, who had six points.

Blackstone-Millville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Whitinsville Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.

Whitinsville Christian was taken down by Blackstone-Millville 60-26 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can Whitinsville Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
