The Coram Deo Academy Lions suffered their biggest defeat since December 8, 2023 on Saturday. They were beaten by Bishop Gorman 92-50. Bishop Gorman found their leader in underclassman Ej Coppock, who went 12 for 14 from beyond the arc en route to 39 points and 1 assist. That's the first time this season that Coppock scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Richbourg, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and five steals.

Coram Deo Academy bumped their record down to 2-16 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.3 points per game. As for Bishop Gorman, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 21-4.

Coram Deo Academy will head out on the road to challenge Westlake Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
