Basketball Recap: Milbank Extends Winning Streak to Three

Milbank had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 60-48 win over the Tri-Valley Mustangs. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Milbank pushed their record up to 8-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points over those games. As for Tri-Valley, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Coming up, Milbank will challenge Webster at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Milbank has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Tri-Valley, they will face off against McCook Central/Montrose at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
