Volleyball Recap: Coon Rapids Comes Up Short

Coon Rapids lost against Osseo back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cardinals fell 2-0 to the Orioles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

Their offense was headlined by Kiera Radke and Lauren Pavelko, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Alba Thao and her seven assists. Talitha Kue and Taryn Koch kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Coon Rapids' loss dropped their record down to 7-11-1. As for Osseo, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.

Coon Rapids wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Como Park on the 20th. As for Osseo, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Cristo Rey Jesuit on the 20th.
