Softball Recap: Clarkstown North Extends Winning Streak to Four

Clarkstown North entered their tilt with Suffern on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Mounties with a sharp 14-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won four games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Amaya Hall looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

On the hitting side, Peyton Conti was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Siena DeCicco was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Clarkstown North's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Suffern, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clarkstown North will challenge Clarkstown South at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Suffern, they will take on Arlington at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
