Baseball Recap: Friday's Win Is Atlanta's 13th in Last 14 Outings

Atlanta owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They blew past the Higbee Tigers 7-0. Considering the Hornets have won 13 contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Atlanta has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for Higbee, their loss dropped their record down to 5-16-2.

Coming up, Atlanta will face off against Brashear at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Higbee, they will take on Community at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
