Basketball Recap: Selkirk Takes a Loss

Selkirk suffered their biggest defeat since December 5, 2023 on Saturday. They were dealt a 91-36 loss at the hands of the Northport Mustangs. The Rangers haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Selkirk's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Northport, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Selkirk will be home for the holidays to greet Cusick at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cusick will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Selkirk surely won't give up without a fight. Northport will take on Inchelium in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northport knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Inchelium likes a good challenge.
