Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fairfield). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Kelseyville Knights on Saturday. The win was some much needed relief for the Falcons as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

They hit Kelseyville with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Juan Flores, Zachary Allan, and Marcos Horta.

Fairfield's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7-1. As for Kelseyville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairfield will take on West Campus at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kelseyville, they are taking a road trip to challenge Corning at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Corning is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.6 goals per game this season.
