Softball Game Preview: Manchester Regional Falcons vs. Garfield Boilermakers

Monday just wasn't the day for Manchester Regional's offense. They came up short against Glen Rock on Monday, falling 21-0.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 20 runs the game before, Garfield was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They lost 15-0 to Wood-Ridge. The loss continues a trend for the Boilermakers in their meetings with the Blue Devils: they've now lost five in a row.

Manchester Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Garfield, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Manchester Regional couldn't quite get it done against Garfield in their previous meeting back in May of 2018 as they fell 9-6. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
