Softball Recap: Liberty Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Liberty Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Whitehall-Yearling Rams, falling 18-3.

Audrey Soliday was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Liberty Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Whitehall-Yearling, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Liberty Christian Academy will square off against Shekinah Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. This will be Liberty Christian Academy's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Whitehall-Yearling, they will face off against Franklin Heights at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Franklin Heights has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.75 runs per game on average), something Whitehall-Yearling will no doubt try to take advantage of.
