Baseball Recap: Eaglecrest Comes Up Short

Eaglecrest lost to Grandview on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Raptors fell 6-2 to the Wolves. The Raptors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eaglecrest saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landen Holmes, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Eaglecrest's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Grandview, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Eaglecrest is set to face off against their familiar foe Smoky Hill at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Grandview will square off against rival Cherokee Trail at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
