Milwaukee Reagan had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They never let the Milwaukee School of Languages Hawks get on the board and left with  a   17-0  win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  20-1  on Thursday.
 Larissa Michalak made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (and not a single walk). Those  seven  strikeouts gave  her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate,  earning one  RBI, one  run,  and one  stolen base.
 In other batting news,  Zaida Nelson was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Ava Curry, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI.
 Milwaukee Reagan  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters  in nine consecutive  matches.
Milwaukee Reagan's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Milwaukee School of Languages,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-4.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Milwaukee Reagan will challenge St. Francis at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The Mariners have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.33  runs per game on average), something the Huskies will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Milwaukee School of Languages, they will square off against Milwaukee King at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
