Basketball Recap: Mississinawa Valley Comes Up Short

Mississinawa Valley suffered their closest loss since December 20, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Dixie Greyhounds by a score of 38-36. The Blackhawks haven't had much luck with the Greyhounds recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Mississinawa Valley now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Dixie, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Coming up, Mississinawa Valley and Union City will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Dixie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
