Volleyball Recap: Air Academy Gets the Win

Air Academy won the last time they faced Pueblo Centennial and things went their way on Saturday too. The Kadets came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Kadets.

Among those leading the charge was Aurelia Matzelle, who had nine digs and five aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024. Amylia Nohrenberg also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Air Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Pueblo Centennial, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Air Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Pueblo East on the 11th. As for Pueblo Centennial, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Sierra on the 11th.
