Volleyball Recap: Air Academy Gets the Win

Air Academy won the last time they faced Pueblo Centennial and things went their way on Saturday too. The Kadets came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Kadets.

Aurelia Matzelle was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had nine digs and five aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024. Amylia Nohrenberg also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Air Academy's record is now 9-5. As for Pueblo Centennial, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Air Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Pueblo East on the 11th. As for Pueblo Centennial, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Sierra on the 11th.
