Basketball Game Preview: Taholah Chitwhins vs. Muckleshoot Tribal Kings

The Taholah Chitwhins just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Muckleshoot Tribal Kings at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Taholah knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Muckleshoot Tribal likes a good challenge.

Taholah is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Lake Quinault 85-28 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Muckleshoot Tribal had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging an 82-44 victory over the Rangers. The Kings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 23 points or more this season.

Muckleshoot Tribal's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.9 points per game. As for Taholah, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.

Taholah was taken down by Muckleshoot Tribal 71-39 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Taholah avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
