Flagstaff had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Thunderbird Titans 3-0 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Eagles have posted against the Titans since October 6, 2015.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Thunderbird still got an impressive performance from Ema-Lee Burke, who had 13 digs and two assists. Burke is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Flagstaff will face off against Arcadia at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Thunderbird, they will take on Eastmark at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
