Baseball Recap: Evansville Harrison Comes Up Short

Evansville Harrison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tecumseh Braves. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Dean Underwood made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one triple, one double, and one RBI. Mason Baker was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Evansville Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Tecumseh, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-7.

Looking ahead, Evansville Harrison will face off against Evansville Mater Dei at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Tecumseh, they will challenge Pike Central at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
