Basketball Recap: Mississippi School for the Deaf Takes a Loss

Mississippi School for the Deaf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They were outmatched by the Mount Olive Pirates and fell 55-17. The Bulldogs were down 48-15 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Learvious Hill and Tyler Thomas, who each put up six points. Hill also led the team in rebounds with two.

Mississippi School for the Deaf's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Mount Olive, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8.

Mississippi School for the Deaf didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 77-25 loss against Stringer on the 16th. As for Mount Olive, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 60-35 defeat against Leake County on the 16th.
