Baseball Recap: Parkers Prairie's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

After flying high against Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale on Tuesday, Parkers Prairie came back down to earth. The Panthers took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines on Thursday. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Parkers Prairie fell to 5-1. As for Wadena-Deer Creek, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkers Prairie will challenge Menahga at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wadena-Deer Creek, they will face off against Pierz at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
