Preview: Rossford Bulldogs vs. Oak Harbor Rockets
The Rossford Bulldogs will be home for the holidays to greet the Oak Harbor Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Tuesday, Rossford escaped with a win against Otsego by the margin of a single free throw, 44-43. The victory was just what Rossford needed coming off of a 60-38 loss in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, Oak Harbor entered their tilt with Lake with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Oak Harbor put the hurt on Lake with a sharp 50-28 victory on Saturday. Given Oak Harbor's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 310th, while Lake is ranked 663rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Rossford's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Oak Harbor, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
Rossford was dealt a bruising 49-22 loss at the hands of Oak Harbor in their previous meeting back in November of 2022. Can Rossford avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
